The Craigslist lawsuits have me concerned about this. I realize Dreamwidth may not be offering erotic classifieds, but it seems to me that this sort of thing would take resources that could be better spent on the journaling service itself rather than a potentially lawsuit-inspiring, arbitration-requiring sort of thing.
I do get why it would be a good way to bring in revenue, and that sounds like a good idea, but I really really really think lawyers ought to be consulted on what exactly Dreamwidth's responsibilities and liabilities would be if it does anything even remotely approaching a system-supported classified marketplace.
