You're right, so I went and looked up some of the improvements specifically made in Bugzilla:
* Give OpenID users access to their recent comments page * Tried to go around the service and make sure OpenID users had menus and settings applicable to their account. So, the menus don't show "post" for them, etc, etc. * Went around taking out ext_XXX notation and replacing it with user.service.com * Adding an OpenID login to the nav strip * Allow people to use the OpenID URL to manage access in their circle * Improved the main OpenID login page by taking away the yellow beta warning box and adding a notice about validating your account to get notifications * Giving logged out users and OpenID users a post comment link at the bottom of the page * OpenID validation email customized for OpenID accounts * Inform OpenID accounts that they can't use HTML in their profile
We plan to also:
* Allow OpenID users to join communities, although not post, so they can see locked posts
To be honest, a lot of it is just little and detail oriented.
