I had an idea this afternoon - perhaps in the future somebody could hack things so that the authenticated feeds default to full, ie: when we have "auth=digest" and username/password input. Because that situation only ever occurs when some other DW user (who has a username/password) is accessing the feed. Or if implementation was simpler, that a separate auth-only full feed was available.
I have no idea if these things are technically feasible or socially desired - it seems that most people think cutting feeds is a good idea - but it's what's on my wishlist, and it's always worth asking, right! :)
